The sterilized double Tyvek® packaging increases the test method reliability, allowing to streamline the cleaning procedures, minimize the risk of cross-contamination in laminar flow hoods and secure an efficient decontamination of isolator chambers. The product is a clear colorless liquid with a pH of 7.1 ± 0.2 at 25°C. It can be stored at 2-25°C (protected from light) for 12 months. Fluid A is used to rinse aqueous solutions during sterility testing by membrane filtration. It is also used to dilute soluble solids for the same application. This product is recommended as a rinsing fluid for membrane filtration of non-sterile products. Composition and growth performance of this medium comply with the European Pharmacopeia (EP) 2.6.1, United States Pharmacopeia (USP) 71 and Japanese Pharmacopeia (JP) 4.06. Our manufacturing approach ensures the highest level of quality for our media, improving accuracy and significantly reducing the risk of incorrect interpretation and false results. The appearance of the fluid is light-yellow, slightly opalescent and viscous liquid with a pink ring in suspension 1 cm. The pH of the product is 7.1 ± 0.2 and can be stored at 2-25°C. The incubation temperature varies between 30-35°C, with an incubation time of 7-14 days. The product is supplied as 12 bottles of 100 mL of medium, screw cap with septum closure that minimizes the risks of cross-contamination and optimizes the disinfection procedures.ApplicationFluid Thioglycollate Medium (FTM) is primarily used for the detection of anaerobic bacteria. However, it also enables aerobic bacterial detection. The QC organisms include Clostridium sporogenes (ATCC 19404; ATCC 11437), Staphylococcus aureus (ATCC 6538) and Pseudomonas aeruginosa (ATCC 9027). This medium is used for sterility testing by membrane filtration or direct inoculation.

MAS-100 Iso NT® Perforated Lid
Кат. номер 1.09222.0001 1092220001 General descriptionMAS-100 ISO NT® Perforated Lid is made from stainless steel and can be used with MAS-100 ISO NT® and MAS-100 ISO MH® microbial air samplers. It is compatible with the standard and easy clean base. The sieve of the perforated lid is the core of the air sampler. Each hole must have an identical diameter and length to accelerate the aspirated air correctly. The 3mm thickness of the perforated sieve guarantee a well-defined impaction jet. The impaction speed defines the physical sampling efficiency. The cut-off value D50 (the particle size at which 50% of the particles impact in the agar) must be identical between holes and between lids. That is why intense quality control of the sieves is performed. The sieve pattern with 400 holes of a diameter of 0.7 mm provides an impaction speed of approximately 11 m/s at a flow rate of 100 SLPM. This impaction speed allows a high physical efficiency, meaning a sampling efficiency of more the 50% of small particles at a size of less than 1.62 µm (D50, calculated) while maintaining the viability of microorganisms during impaction on the agar surface. The edge protection prevents scratching of the sealing surface which would lead to aspirating air through the gap.
